Supervisor Training : Reasonable Suspicion Drug Testing

Our Reasonable Suspicion Drug Testing Training Course details the responsibilities for managers and supervisor who may be required to identify employees that may pose a risk to themselves and fellow work mates due to the effects of drugs or alcohol.

The training course defines the manager / supervisor's role in the prevention and management of problematic alcohol and other drug use in the workplace.

A detailed Drug Awareness component is included so that participants have a good understanding of the effects of drug and alcohol and the risk this poses in a workplace.

The course is limited to small groups and consists of both theory and interactive scenarios to enhance learning outcomes.

A certificate of attendance is issued on successful completion.


Course Aims

- Determine reasonable suspicion testing common in the workplace
- Identify physical, behavioural, and performance indicators of probable alcohol or drug use
- Determine appropriate reasonable suspicion testing
- Define workplace drug and alcohol testing program requirements
- Identify signs, symptoms, and workplace impact of alcohol misuse
- Detail manager/supervisor related roles and responsibilities


The training course runs for approximately 2.5 hours.
The course includes theory and group scenarios.
